Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer (FF&E) to join our Design team. This role will focus on the sourcing, specification, and coordination of FF&E across both Staycity and Wilde Aparthotel brands. The successful candidate will ensure our interiors reflect each brand’s unique identity, while balancing style, durability, budget, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, source, and specify FF&E schemes for new openings, refurbishments, and brand updates across Staycity and Wilde Aparthotels.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, mood boards, and sample presentations for internal review and project sign-off.
- Assist in procurement processes including cost comparisons, negotiations, and purchase orders in line with budgets.
- Oversee dressing, styling, and staging of show apartments, public areas, and photo shoots to ensure spaces are presentation-ready.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, and Development teams) to ensure FF&E meets both aesthetic and practical requirements.
- Conduct site visits to review installations, snag items, and ensure design intent is delivered to the highest standard.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and suppliers to keep designs fresh, sustainable, and aligned with brand values.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven FF&E experience within hospitality, residential, or commercial interiors (hotel/aparthotel experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of suppliers, materials, finishes, and furniture design.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, or equivalent design software.
- Strong eye for detail with ability to balance creativity and practicality.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
