The role:
We are looking for a qualified and technically skilled Mechanical Services Technician to support our Dublin city centre properties, ensuring facilities and maintenance services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements. This hands on role combines practical repairs with the coordination of planned and reactive works, while ensuring all maintenance activity is accurately recorded through our CMMS system. You will work closely with property teams, maintenance colleagues and external contractors to help keep our buildings safe, compliant and operating smoothly.

We would love you to have:
At least 5 years of hands on experience in facilities, maintenance or building services, ideally across multiple sites.
A completed mechanical trade apprenticeship, relevant trade qualification or equivalent maintenance related certification.
Strong practical maintenance skills and the confidence to carry out repairs and general maintenance tasks yourself.
Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance management system, including auditing records for accuracy and compliance.
A good understanding of the statutory compliance requirements relating to mechanical and building services.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
A proactive and practical approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small onsite team.
Good communication skills and confidence working with contractors, property teams and hotel management.
Experience within hospitality, aparthotels or multisite residential environments would be an advantage.
What you can do for us:
• Carry out hands-on maintenance and repair work including plumbing, HVAC, FCU, HRU, AHU, Pumps, Motors and associated tasks across the cluster of aparthotels, alongside coordinating external contractors for specialist tasks.
• Ensure delivery of both planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance works are completed on time, to standard, and in line with statutory and legislative standards.
• Coordinate the day-to-day activity of tasks with on-site maintenance teams across the cluster, ensuring consistent standards and clear priorities.
• Work with the company CMMS system to complete each task as required and logging of all reactive calls to ensure all maintenance activity is adhered to and compliance documentation is complete.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues, resolving directly where possible or coordinating the right contractor for specialist work.
• Provide regular reporting on maintenance performance, tracking of assigned maintenance tasks, paperwork and CMMS data quality to the Regional FM Coordinator.
• Build strong working relationships with hotel General Managers and on-site teams to keep maintenance activity aligned with operational needs.
• Support the ordering and tracking of materials and parts required for planned and reactive works.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement across the cluster's maintenance operations.
