We are looking for a bright and talented AP Manager to join us and help lead the team through rapid expansion, as we increase our trading properties from 21 to 31 over the next 12 months, and further expansion planned for the upcoming years.

To succeed as an Accounts Payable Manager, you should comfortable identifying process improvements and implementing transformation. You should be knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills.


  • Lead & manage the Accounts Payable function for all legal entities within the group
  • Motivate, provide strong leadership and develop the team
  • Drive change and challenge process and procedures to encourage continuous improvement
  • Ensure AP processes are compliant with group policies and procedures, and local jurisdiction regulations
  • Implement, report & deliver operational performance metrics to manage the team on a day to day basis
  • Identify and resolve training Gaps within the team to ensure full-service cover
  • Develop and implement a standardized approach for process and control documentation
  • Build and maintain existing business relationships with suppliers & colleagues
  • Ensure robust controls and strong governance across all aspects of the AP process
  • Responsible for monthly AP close (inc multicurrency transactions, cashflow projections)

Job requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and motivated to deliver change and results
  • Excellent data analytic/reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Process mindset – preferably with proven record in process analysis, improvement and control
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to deliver results in day to day activities in high volume dynamic environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
  • Excellent Excel and IT skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish goals
  • Disciplined in planning and execution to achieve goals
  • Third Level Degree an advantage
  • Experience working in French, Italian, German, UK & Irish markets would be beneficial
